Sunday School for children (4 yrs.-6th gr.) meets during the last half of the worship service (during the sermon). The classes equip children to come to know God in a life changing way and have a growing relationship with Him. It is a place for children to make friends and have a great time as they learn. Sunday School for 2 & 3 yr-olds is held during the entire worship hour.
AWANA - Taken from 2 Timothy 2:15, AWANA Youth Program stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. There are 12,000 U.S. churches in all 50 states and 6000 churches in 109 countries that use the Awana program. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls for the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him! A typical club night includes a spirited game time, a handbook time where kids work one-on-one with a trained leader to memorize and understand Bible verses, and a time for a practical Bible story or or lesson. What do kids want after they have been to AWANA? They want to go back because AWANA is FUN! (meets Sept.- Apr.)
