Jason is a third-generation preacher and missionary to Japan under Baptist General Conference (Converge). He graduated from Bethel University in 1998, Bethel Seminary in 2004, and was ordained in 2006 through the Converge while being an associate pastor at Hayden Heights Baptist Church. He served as chaplain at Okinawa Christian School in Japan from 2008-2013. Jason considers himself blessed to be serving at Elk River Baptist since then! Jason and Janelle are proud parents of 3 wonderful & wild kids, Angelia, Timothy & Jewel, all adopted. He also likes fishing, playing guitar, board games, and soccer, just to name a few.

I want to let you know that I am committed to glorifying God through the proclamation of His Truth, based upon the inerrant Word of God, which through His Spirit transforms every aspect of our lives.
